Removing Menu VOB ID's

While playing the VTS_01_0.VOB I noticed the copyright warning was near the end of the VOB and after opening the related IFO file I could see it contained many VOB ID's . As I had previewed the VOB previously I knew that it would have a high VOB ID number being at near the end

This was the original VTS_01_0.VOB size

While playing the VTS_01_0.VOB I noticed the copyright warning was near the end of the VOB. As I had previewed the VOB previously I knew that it would have a high VOB ID number being at near the end

opening the ifo I saw that it had 53 VOB ID's!, but I went straight to the last one, double clicked it and the preview window opened up and it showed the Copyright warning video if I moved the slider bar along so I knew 53 was the only one I wanted to delete. You may want to remove more than just the one in this example but please check they are the right ones 1st and only remove the ones you are certain contain the video you wish to remove

If the video for a VOB ID does not play chances are it contains no video but it's best to check using VOBRATOR to preview the VOB, but do not delete a VOB ID if you cannot see what it contains as sometimes it contains nothing but is important in the structure of the DVD. If VOBRATOR does not still show the VOB ID, then try demuxing it and use the DRAG n DROP method in the other IFOEDIT guide HERE

when you are 100% sure you know which VOB ID's you want to delete then click MENU EXTRAS and you will get this window below

tick the same boxes but make sure you have a destination directory setup and do not use the original folder and click OK and the STREAMLIST screen will open

and make sure the VOB ID you need to remove is unchecled, mine is 53 and unchecked then click Strip It and you will see this

then when it is finished processing you will see this

after IFOEDIT processes the VOB it will have created new IFO/BUP files aswell as the new VOB(s)

as you can see the new VOB is slightly smaller than the original above and all you do now is copy these new files over the originals
